Many people have problems with presentaton & communication skills (soft skills). In particular when seeking employment, presenting an idea or a company product as well as an entrepreneur seeking finance for his start-up. This is a competitive game where teams or individual players compete with each other in order to improve in a structured way their presentation & communication skills. In this game we will simulate real life events where players will make presentations and communicate with business investors in order to finance an entrepreneurial project. The game needs an instructor or Game Master, who manages all aspects of the game including potential tensions between players. Of course excessive competition would be detrimental to normal activities, but there must be a sensible level of competition and role-playing, including acting for the game to actually become alive thus reflecting reality. What that level is depends on the players and on the ability as a Game Master to manage the sessions. The game has two activities The first activity is a competitive role playing game where individual players compete with each other and each player has to make his own presentation. The second activity is a collaborative role playing game where teams have to interact with other teams to perform a common task. “Collaborative learning” is an umbrella term for a variety of educational approaches involving joint intellectual effort by students, or students and teachers together. Usually, students are working in groups of two or more, mutually searching for understanding, solutions, or meanings, or creating a product.
